Using the original samples and their own additions, This mix tells a dark tale starting in minor keynote with deep progressive elements, but suddenly does some music theory trickery and drops you from F#min to Cmaj, totally ignoring the rules of music and violating the circle of fifths and into major keynote, but they nail it, and yet again back to minor during the outro... Throughout they continuously engage you with powerful sounds, mad beats and a bassline seemingly uncertain of itself but purposefully an very well crafted to achieve its continuance of sonic sorcery telling its tale of one's path to Freedom. They heard of my project and wanted in, We furnished them with lots of samples and an idea of a bassline, and they worked hard on it themselves finally delivering me this piece of work that frankly, I feel should be sitting at track #1. Their use of the ethnic duduk flute adds a third melodic line making a triple counterpoint and one with an Arabic vibe... Very well done!
